About Eilles

Tea and coffee expertise since 1873

FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT SINCE 1873

From Munich specialty store to established premium brand

With his flair for quality and the extraordinary, Joseph Eilles founded his specialty store in Munich in 1873. This developed into a brand that today stands for the highest art of coffee and tea.

The brand made a name for itself early on with its exceptional quality - and was even appointed purveyor to the royal Bavarian court. The royal coat of arms still adorns the brand today as a symbol of the highest standards.

More than 150 years later, EILLES is known throughout Germany and is firmly established in the hot drinks industry. Whether in upmarket restaurants, cafés, bakeries or supermarkets: EILLES is at home wherever quality counts. Today, as in the past, the name stands for uncompromising enjoyment for all those who value taste, reliability and a strong brand.

Responsibility & sustainability

Quality in line with our values

Sustainable procurement and fair partnerships are an essential part of our quality standards. EILLES attaches great importance to sustainable sourcing and quality. Some of our varieties come from controlled organic cultivation and fair trade relationships in order to support both the environment and our cultivation partners.

The disposal of packaging is also a major issue for us. The correct disposal methods can be found on the filter coffee, whole bean and pods pages. We are also currently in the process of converting all our tea packaging, including cardboard packaging, to renewable and recyclable raw materials.
