EILLES TEE Fruit tea

Definition, aroma and quality in detail

FRUIT TEA - A WORLD OF ENJOYMENT IN ITS OWN RIGHT

Aromatic, versatile and surprisingly multi-faceted

Fruit teas and herbal teas are among the most popular infusions in Germany. Strictly speaking, however, these are not "real" teas, but so-called infusions.

Fruit tea consists of chopped fruit and plant parts that are infused fresh or dried. Unlike green or black tea, it is not made from the leaves of the tea plant Camellia sinensis or Camellia assamica and therefore does not undergo their traditional processing steps. Accordingly, fruit tea is defined in German food law as a tea-like product.

In its original form, fruit tea is caffeine-free and impresses with its natural fruitiness and versatility. It also has a firm place in the EILLES TEE range - as an aromatic alternative with its own character.

A vibrant blend of fruity spices, featuring orange and floral notes perfect for a soothing herbal tea experience.

What's in fruit tea

Fruity variety for every time of day

Unlike black or green tea, fruit tea contains no caffeine and is therefore not associated with a classic stimulating effect. Instead, it impresses with its natural freshness and pleasantly fruity character - as a refreshing companion at any time of day.

Depending on their composition, fruit teas can contain valuable herbal ingredients such as vitamins, minerals or trace elements. They stimulate the senses not through caffeine, but through their intense aroma and lively variety of flavors.

Whether enjoyed hot, lukewarm or iced on warm days - fruit tea is a versatile alternative for anyone who wants to consciously avoid sugar without sacrificing taste. A low-calorie drink that brings variety to everyday life and reinterprets enjoyment.

THE PERFECT CUP OF FRUIT TEA

Preparation tips for intense fruit enjoyment

The dosage and brewing time determine the flavor profile in the cup. For a balanced result, a heaped teaspoon per cup is recommended. Always pour boiling water over the fruit tea.

The ideal brewing time is between five and ten minutes. After around eight to ten minutes, the tea develops its full aroma - intensely fruity, round and harmonious. Basically, the longer the fruit tea steeps, the stronger and more expressive its taste will be.

Why is boiling water so important? Fruit and herbal teas are natural products and can contain a natural flora of microorganisms. Infusing with boiling water not only ensures optimum flavor extraction, but also guarantees hygienic safety.
