Our history
In 1873, Joseph Eilles opened the first specialty store for the finest tea and coffee in Munich's Residenzstrasse, directly opposite the State Opera House. With his extensive range of delicacies such as spices, cocoa and teas, he quickly established himself as a delicatessen of a special kind.
Creation of the year 2026
A berry duo full of fruitiness - that's our new EILLES TEE creation of the year: Haskap berry-cranberry.
The haskap berry originally comes from the Kamchatka Peninsula and was first cultivated in Japan in the 13th century. It has long been considered a "superfood" there. Translated, its name means "berry of eternal life". It gives the tea a sweet and sour, slightly tart note, while the cranberry provides a harmonious balance with its berry-sweet aroma. An extraordinary taste experience that will surprise you.
Our master roasters
Our master roasters have been transforming small, green coffee beans into an aromatic taste experience for 150 years. To do this, they not only need excellent green coffee, but also special skills. Real roasting expertise includes coffee knowledge, a wealth of experience, a sure instinct, fine senses and dedication.
