Step by steps Preparation

Ingredients StrawberriesPlace the strawberries in the pan and defrost if necessary. If you prefer, you can mash the strawberries (coarser pieces remain) or puree them finely (smooth fruit spread). -

Ingredients Lemon juice, pyramid bag EILLES TEE Herb GardenAdd the lemon juice and bring everything to the boil while stirring. Add the EILLES TEE Herb Garden pyramid bags and simmer over a low heat for approx. 5 minutes.
Remove the pyramid bags and carefully squeeze the liquid out of the tea bags into the pot. -
3.Step
Ingredients Rum, gelling sugarAdd the rum and gelling sugar to the strawberries. Boil for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. To be on the safe side, do a gelling test after 3 minutes. If the fruit mixture still does not set, boil for a further 1-2 minutes. -
4.Step
Pour immediately hot and full to the brim into sterile jars (or other container as required), seal and turn upside down (for twist-off jars). After 5 minutes, turn upside down again and leave to cool completely. -
